Experienced instructors, professional equipment and a lot of fun!

Our lessons are available for everyone, from beginners to advanced level surfers.

For beginners we have an introductory course as well as a full course.
We offer day trips, to get you to places you don´t want to miss, hidden natural gems to ensure an experience you will never forget.
Here at Waveriders Surf School Costa Rica we consider that it is important to feel comfortable, and most of all enjoy yourself!

Came in last minute for a surf lesson, they were very kind to squeeze me in! The lesson I had was pretty personalized, which is nice so as you progress, don't have to wait for everyone to catch up like with the other surfing lessons I´ve watched from the beach. Our group of eight had an amazing experience with the help of the crew at Wave Riders Surf School in Tamarindo. The team was very patient for our group of beginners and encouraged us to the very end. The owner also threw in a photographer (pics included) and smoothies to make the day extra special. This was by far one of the highlights of our trip!

We went to Witch's Rock at Naranjo Beach today hosted by WRSS. Everything was well planned. We had a great time! A photographer and tour guide went with us that made the trip even better. Left early to catch the best time for waves suggested by WRSS. It turned out to be the best choice for the day. Very knowledgeable of the territory and we felt very safe. I highly recommend them to anyone!
